Help Us Launch CrossThorns Café – A Christian community Café in Newcastle

My name is Jennifer, and I am stepping out in faith to open CrossThorns Café in the heart of Newcastle city centre. This will be far more than just a coffee shop—it will be a Christian café and community hub, a place where people can gather, be encouraged, and experience the love of Christ in a welcoming environment.

The vision for CrossThorns Café was born out of my own journey in Christ. In one of the darkest seasons of my life, I had a dream where God revealed His name “YH-WH” and felt God’s assurance that everything would be alright. Out of that moment, I gave my life to Christ and I launched my brand CrossThornsCo., built to spread hope and faith through beauty and apparel. Now, I feel called to extend that mission through a café that brings light and encouragement into our brothers and sisters in Christ’ everyday life.

What makes CrossThorns Café truly special is that our menu will be inspired by Scripture. Every food, drink, and dessert will carry a name or message drawn from the Bible—turning each order into a reminder of God’s word. Whether it’s a comforting coffee, a refreshing drink, or a sweet dessert, every item will not only nourish the body but also uplift the spirit.

At CrossThorns Café, guests will enjoy more than great food. They will find a safe space for fellowship, creative workshops, prayer gatherings, Bible studies, and community events. It will be a place where people from all walks of life can feel welcome, encouraged, and inspired.

To make this vision a reality, I need your support. Funds raised will go towards:

☕ Café Set-Up – equipment, furniture, and renovations to create a warm, Christ-centered space.

Scripture-Inspired Menu Development – bringing Biblical creativity into food, drinks, and desserts.

Marketing & Outreach – so the local community knows this café is here for them.
