To see the world before I go blind

I am starting this go fund me for my best friend Keith who is 32years old.
Keith is an artist, performer and a phenomenal singer. One of the most gentle souls ever to grace this earth. If you've ever had the opportunity to be in his presence, you are automatically gifted with this energetically positive attitude as well as a radiant kindness and love.
Everyone that meets this man has the same reaction "He's one of the most special people I know"
On a recent trip to Chicago where he lives, Keith told me that he's been diagnosed with Glaucoma - often called the "sneak thief of vision."
It can go unnoticed until late into the disease. After a recent test, already 48% of his peripheral vision has gone.
Glaucoma is where the nerve connecting the eye to the brain is damaged, usually due to high eye pressure. Treatment includes eye drops, medications, and surgery. But there is no cure. If caught early you can treat it to control the disease but even if you opt for surgery, that can cause temporary or permanent vision loss, as well as bleeding or infection.
Eventually Keith will go blind.
If you are a dreamer, a traveller, an adventurous spirit...even if you are not that way inclined, can you imagine, being told at 32years old that you're loosing you vision and eventually you'll be blind, we can slow it down but it could go at any moment......
Keith has been mentally processing this new information for the past couple of months. As strong, positive and graceful as he may be, this is a hard pill to swallow, especially for a 32year old man with dreams and ambitions to see the world.
I asked Keith what can I do to help?!? I asked Keith "What are some places you've always wanted to see in the world? If you had the opportunity to leave now and see them before you go blind, what would they be?"
Keiths response was "If I had all the money in the world Scott, I would up and leave to see The Northern Lights and travel through Africa.
Im creating this GoFundMe page for Keith to SEE those places before he can no longer view them through the lenses we all take for granted!
