Help Save My Son Ethan – Urgent Medical Care Needed

My name is Arabella Vida, and I am the mother of 11-year-old Ethan Nikko Vida — my only child, my greatest blessing, and my entire world. It breaks my heart to write this, but I am reaching out because my son’s life is in danger, and I can no longer fight this battle alone.I had to make this difficult decision to reach people for help .

In May 2023, Ethan suffered a severe head injury due to the negligence and discriminatory actions of Air Canada staff. Since that day, his health has been on a steep and devastating decline. Although we are pursuing justice through the court, the system is slow — and my son doesn’t have time to wait.I have exhausted all possible avenues to get help but failed.

Ethan has been showing signs of rapid neurological deterioration:

Loss in functional and executive skills.

He has lost his ability to run

He struggles to walk without falling

He has developed drop foot and abnormal gait ,Dysphagia and right side of face is getting affected by growing impact of head injury .

He is at imminent risk of paralysis and death if left untreated or delayed in care.

What makes this even more heartbreaking is that Ethan’s condition is treatable.Most of the damages were preventable if he had received timely care. The world-renowned Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) has offered to take him in and provide the specialized care he urgently needs. This care could stop further damages, might restore his motor function, and quite literally save his life.

But we can’t afford to get him there on our own.
