Save St Lucy’s Church

Donation protected
In 1939, St Lucy’s Roman Catholic Church was established in the city of Campbell, Ohio It was established by Italian immigrants, who with the help of the Diocese of Cleveland built a worship site to welcome all European immigrants to worship and pray. The parish was lead by Father Palermo for almost 40 years and has been a mainstay in the Campbell community for over 80 years. On August 29, 2021 the Diocese of Youngstown decided not to only close St Lucy’s but also St Joseph’s Church as well The reasoning was supposedly do to the decrease in the Catholic population and the mounting debt of Christ The Good Shepherd. In 2015, the parish took their fight all the way to Vatican and overturned the previous decision to close their church; in 2021, a familiar challenge has arisen and a new fight has begun. All proceeds raised will go to our legal fund ( canon lawyer) representation and forensic audit request. Any donation is greatly appreciated. God Bless All
