Hey there!

Most of you know me but for the ones who don’t: My name is Celine Rosalie I am an April Fool’s Birthday Baby and I rarely ask for help, even when I really need it but this time there is just no way around it.

Here a little about the situation: I am originally from Europe, a European Cocktail some might say. I am an actor amongst lots of other things.

I started my new US VISA application last year 2023 in May, I thought I would have had it by Christmas time so I could visit my family in Europe. This would have been the second work/artist Visa after having been through student visas as well (almost 8 years in the US up till now)

The case was strong, but the wait was long. By Christmas I didn’t hear good news about the VISA yet, but I chose to visit home anyway, I couldn’t bear to leave my family alone after having to do so during the “COVID” already. So I left the US behind-including my work, my boyfriend, my chosen family, my secondary home, and my supporters.

By late February I found out that my Visa was denied, because of my consultation letters from SAG. These letters are a written advisory opinion from an appropriate union confirming that the applicant is an individual of extraordinary ability, usually through contracts for a project (these now have to be union projects, which makes it extremely difficult to get - Thank you Strike )

My lawyer managed to reopen my case after the denial - for an additional fee of course (there are hidden fees EVERYWHERE) and submit corrected

letters, but these were not enough for immigration either - another DENIAL

Now the SAG Actor’s Strike was great for many, but sadly influenced my situation in many ways negatively and made it harder and more expensive for me to receive the consultation letters and to get my VISA approved. Right now it seems like they won’t give me the letter, so now my lawyer and me have to figure out another way, which will take more money, effort, sweat, time⏰ and tears , but mostly more funds .

Since all this was extremely unexpected and even my lawyer was shocked about them denying my 3rd US VISA in the first place, I didn’t plan on being away from the US, and everything and everyone I love for this long.

Of course I have to keep paying all my monthly costs of living in Los Angeles including rent , etc. I need to come up with so much more additional money for this new VISA application, without my work income in the US.

I have been away from my US home for 4 months now and I don’t see a speedy return into the US yet I have missed many opportunities as well as life events I never wanted to miss in the first place, but sometimes that’s life, as Frank Sinatra says.

So my only Birthday wish this year is to get some support from you. It takes a lot to ask, usually I can figure things out pretty quick on my own, the ones who know me well know this

But if you can help, I will get a little closer to my goal to return to my chosen home, work and the people I love ❤️ I wish the US will start making it easier for the ones who mean well to enter the states.
