to replace a damaged mixing desk

Hi, my name is Barry and I'm the landlord of a pub and events space in Sunderland City Centre called The Peacock. Like many independent businesses in our industry times are extremely difficult but we try our very best to bring something great to our city. With rising costs across the board not only for businesses but for people in general it's getting harder for pubs/restaurants to survive. Our business has three elements; a traditional public house, a restaurant and an events space/music venue. One of the crucial pieces of equipment in the music venue is of course the mixing desk. We have hosted hundreds of events in the time we have been running the venue but on Friday the 20th of October our Yamaha TF1 mixing desk was permanently damaged during a gig. When the damage occurred our sound engineer was on stage setting up microphones, but when the speakers starting making a worrying crackling noise he returned to the front of house to discovers that the mixing desk was wet. We built a raised podium to place the expensive equipment out of harms way, we haven't been able to gain adequate evidence as to what happened. It's highly unlikely to be a malicious act and is more than likely a total accident. Nobody came forward when the gig had to stop whilst alternative equipment was brought in so the show could continue. We know that money is tight as the minute but we are hopeful that we could possibly raise some funds towards replacing the desk. Any help at all would be immensely appreciated. Money is very tight within the business, we have seen our operating costs go up and up over the past two years, as of next month our electricity bills alone will rise by 40%. We employ nearly 20 people. Putting on live events is a crucial part of our businesses turnover and we simply can't operate without this essential piece equipment.
