To raise money for new modular for my elderly mom

Greetings Donor,

My name is Carl Tyson, and I am launching this emergency GoFundMe campaign on behalf of my mother, Essie M. Tyson who will turn 93 years old on October 13, 2023. In Sept 2023, my mother suffered an epileptic seizure, which resulted in her falling and being hospitalized. Prior to her hospitalization, her biggest concern was the condition of her home. I am financially unable to buy her a home and have attempted to procure funding through local agencies, to no avail. I feel my best hope is to ask for help through generous donations.

I need your immediate financial support towards the purchase of a modular/double wide mobile home for her. My mother’s current home is in very poor condition and is over 46 years old. The tin roof has sustained damages over the years and with the most recent hurricane that hit Florida, the leakage has increased and there are interior and exterior damages. There are electrical concerns, poor plumbing, buildup of mold, insect infestations, extremely poor lighting and weakening floors throughout the home. There is also no central air or heat.

If 1000 individuals donate $150 or more, it will allow me to raise over $150,000. All funds will go towards purchase of the mobile home, plumbing/sewage/water connection, county fees, soil testing, inspections, ground preparation, electrical and other needs to make the home more accessible for my elderly mother. I know my mother's desire to have a nice home, before she leaves this earth, would be a dream come true!
