Hello all,

Once again, this summer we are embarking on a monumental challenge!!

100 brave people, will attempt to walk over 100 miles along the Dales Way, in order to raise awareness of Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA), the leading genetic cause of infant death.

My friends son Rupert suffers from the condition and since setting up Research SMA (Formerly RALLY ROUND RUPERT) in 2023 a UK registered charity), we have been on a mission to raise the conditions profile, as early diagnosis is essential in order to reduce the serious impacts of the condition - minutes are motor neurons!!!
