Hello, my name is Melissa and this is my 21-year-old daughter who just graduated with a certificate of completion here in Louisville Kentucky from JCPS. Jacynda has Dravet Syndrome which is a generic seizure disorder, mobility is affected, and she can walk but does not have the ability to do much more. Jacynda is 21 years old, but has the mental capacity of a 2-year-old and always will. Jacynda will need lifelong care, she has severe seizures and her mobility will decline with age, she lives with 3 of her siblings and us old folks lol ( her Parents), and she does have 2 older siblings that live on their own. Jacynda LOVES to be outside, and this would be an AMAZING gift for her, it would enable her to be out and enjoy bike rides along with us instead of going slow lol and being in her adaptive wheelchair or walking slowly with one of us while everyone else is riding their bikes. We have wanted this for a long time, but never affordable. My husband is a retired military 23-year veteran, and now has a landscaping company he runs (nothing big) I am a full-time stay-at-home mom, so needless to say we have a modest but humble lifestyle. A friend suggested this and I figured I'd give it a shot, we don't ask for help but now I am we really wanna get this for her to have a sense of freedom the wind blowing through her hair is just pure JOY!!
