Jordan Anthony Asuncion is loved by many. 15 years old, the youngest of four, Jordan was a vibrant young man with boundless enthusiasm about his passions. He was a goofy kid with a great sense of humor, lighting up every room he was in with great wit. His laugh is so unforgettable and echoes in our minds today. Regardless of the conversation, you’d always end it with tears of laughter. He was friendly despite his awkwardness, one of those people who are just too easy to get along with. Jordan’s adventurous nature only helped him to try everything he could.
You’d always catch him doing some kind of sport. From baby days, he trained in mixed martial arts and made it all the way to black belt. During this time, he picked up tricking, something he’d come to love and do all the time. He’d be eager to show you anything he learned and always met with applause. Jordan later picked up basketball and BMX. He dedicated countless hours, making him skilled in each.
Jordan was also known for his passion for cooking. He’d be making homemade meals for his loved ones and knew how to do recipes that people would find challenging. He honed these skills to learn how to make dishes that would put a smile on the face of anyone who ate it
He went to ACMA (an art school) during middle school, and found a love for the arts and many great friends. He fell in love with theatre, dedicating as much practice to plays no matter how small his roles were.
Whether he knew you or not, Jordan openly cared deeply for those around him. As a smart young man, he was always so vocal about the needs and rights of others. Jordan often talked about and advocated to make this world a better place.
On October 7, 2020, Jordan left this Earth and became our guardian angel. He was a beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend that had gone too soon and unexpectedly. He is survived by his mother Annie, father John, siblings Jenalyn, Jonathan, Jae and his maternal grandparents. My name is Kaitlin Quintal, Jordan's second cousin, and have put this fundraiser together to try and support Jordan's family. Due to his sudden death, nobody was prepared for this. All donations from this fundraiser will be going to aid with the fees from the funeral home. I have added Jordan's mom Annie Asuncion as a beneficiary to this GoFundMe and all donations are directly withdrawn into Annie Asuncion's account for them to readily use. If you are able to, please consider a donation to support Jordan's grieving family. All funds will be given to Jordan’s family to help with whatever they see fit in this time of need.
