To make elderly moms home handicap accessible

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Julie. My brother and I have been working together to help our elderly mother. Last Thursday, my brother found that she had fallen and was on the floor for some time. She had her cellphone but was unable to use it. She was having hallucinations and tremors. She couldn’t walk, severely dehydrated, wasn’t eating or sleeping. The ambulance came and took her to the ER. Tests came back, she was admitted. She had 2 types of infections that had been working on her that had gotten into her blood from an open wound on her ankle. The dr’s started IV antibiotics, but we’re unsure if she had been over medicated or possibly under medicating herself due to her state. She was on bed rest. Luckily, by day 4 they started helping and her mental state improved. Although still unable to walk. She is going to need a lot of physical therapy. She has now been moved into a rehabilitation facility. In order for her to be able to come home eventually, we need to make sure her home is going to be handicapped accessible. New floors, wheelchair ramp, shower access, grab bars, possibly a fresh coat of paint if we can. With the rising costs of things, we are struggling. We know things are tight for everyone but if you have any extra, and feel it in your heart to donate, we would appreciate it so very much. You have no idea what this would mean to her and to us. If you would share this to spread the word and please say prayers that she can overcome these infections and learn to get around her home again. We thank you in advance and God Bless.
