Hi... I wish I knew what to say. I hate it that I'm asking people for money. This is really a desperate move for me if I'm being honest. But here in Reno we've had a bit of a homeless boom, mainly because rent has skyrocketed. I'm no different. You know how on the news, they talk about how a lot of people are living Paycheck to paycheck? They'll often say, during a report like that, "If they lose their income, get sick, or have to take a leave of absence, it's very possible that it'll cause trouble and lead to financial ruin". Well, I'm one of those statistics. I lost the income, and couldn't pay rent. I also have an ill senior citizen that I take care of, as well as my 2yo son. Now we're very close to losing our home and being put into the streets. We've been talking about living in the back of a UHaul truck. But.. I'm so worried about my mom, she's sick, is having heart problems, can't walk very far... and we're talking about living in the back of a Uhaul... if nothing else, at least your help will go to either keeping our home, or finding somewhere safe, secure, and warm, with access to electricity for my moms oxygen, and access to a restroom. I don't know if those monthly/weekly motel er... hotel thingys have any availability. But that would be where your donation would go to. Or Diapers... Anyway. Even if you donated .50 cents.
