To Honour the Memory of Jolly George

Join us in making a difference for those battling cancer?

I'm raising money in aid of Cancer Council Australia and every donation will help. Along with the funds that we make, our hair will also be donated.

This fundraiser is in honour of Jolly George (45) who recently passed away battling cancer. Since her initial diagnosis in 2013 till her last breath, she received the very best medical support available. Jolly herself had worked in healthcare for almost 20  years. As a sincere registered nurse, she took pride in knowing she was able to save as many lives as she did.  One of Jolly's final decisions to donate her eyes meant the gift of sight for two lucky recipients as well as a chance for scientists to conduct medical research with aims of preventing, curing and treating eye diseases.

This fundraiser is one of our last chances to celebrate the impact she had and will continue to have on many lives, as well as support those going through the same struggles she went through.

Jolly stayed positive and incredibly brave even through her most difficult times. She put others before herself even through her worst days. So, although shaving our heads will compare no where near to the adversities she faced, we will gladly do so knowing these hair donations and funds will support cancer patients who suffered just like her. If Jolly continued to smile through everything, we will do the same, with or without hair.

The hair from all team members if long enough, will be donated to Variety: the children's charity and Sustainable Salons, who both distribute donated hair to charitable organisations as well as to facilities where wigs can be made for those suffering from medically-induced hair-loss conditions.

Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.
