To help with travel expenses for the Hamptons
Hello friends, my name is Terrie Welch, a friend of Harold and Sheila Hampton. A friend of theirs, Carol Rawson, messaged me that she would like to see a fund started for Harold & Sheila, to help with travel expenses, gas, food, rooms, etc. Not only for Harold but for their 2 sons who live hours away from Memphis.
Friday July 23, Sheila went into Baptist East Heart center in Memphis for a planned surgery to replace an aortic valve. Sheila made it through the surgery with no problems, laughing and talking to everyone when she woke up.. They told Harold that she would be in a room soon and he could stay with her. 2 hours later Sheila suffered a heart attack, they performed CPR, and started her heart back. Since that Friday afternoon, she has been sedated, hooked up to machines. They have plans to run tests and try to wean her from some machines and meds. Doesn’t look like this will be a short stay.
Harold has stayed at a nearby hotel, along with the boys who drove in. With the way the hospital is there you have no place to wait. A little help with expenses would be very helpful to them.
