Jeff Young medical and funeral expenses

Jeff Young was a beloved member of the Brainerd community and fishing industry who shared his passion for youth, fishing, the outdoors, muskies, family and life with all whose lives he touched. He and his entire family have volunteered countless hours and personal resources giving to various organizations in the community including the Brainerd high school fishing team, the Brainerd Lakes Chapter of Muskies Inc., Muskies Inc. National Organization, Brainerd Parks and Recreation, Toys for Tots, and multiple other local charities.  He was a great mentor and a friend to all who knew him and his activity and enthusiasm were contagious.

 

Jeff unexpectedly entered the intensive care unit in late September 2021 and tragically passed away on October 24th, 2021.  His wife Jody and family are left with extreme medical and funeral expenses amidst this difficult time.  Jeff and his family have always been at the forefront of helping others and have been the last to ask for anything in return.  Their humility and sense of unity to a community are traits we now wish to give back to them at a time they need us most.

 

Jeff will be missed by countless members of our community and our thoughts and prayers continue to be with all of his family during this time. We are hoping that this Go Fund Me account can help alleviate some of the burden from the significant unexpected medical and funeral expenses that they face.
