Hi I am Jeanette Vaux. I Have been friends with Ryan for over 21 years and have known Katie for 17 years. Our kids have grown up together since birth. I am fundraising to help Ryan with funeral and medical coasts for Katie.

Ryan and Katie have had more ups than downs the last few years. But through it all they had each other and their family. That was enough. They had an amazing love for each other and their boys. Katie's health was getting worse and she could no longer work. Ryan was trying to take care of Katie and the boys and keep a job and often times that didn't work. At the end of May things started looking up, Katie was finally getting admitted to the hospital and Ryan was to begin work in a couple of weeks. On Memorial day Katie was hopeful when she checked into the hospital that they would finally get answers and she would be able to start treatments to get better. Things sadly did not go as planned. Nine days after she checked into the hospital Katie passed away from cancer. The family went from hope to devasting news to saying goodbye in nine days. Her oldest son turned 16 a day before he lost his mom.

Ryan is now trying to plan a funeral, figure out how to pay her medical debts and help her two boys deal with their mom's death. Anything you can give to help with funeral costs and medical expenses would be amazing. Any extra money would go toward giving Ryan some time to grieve before returning back to work. Thank you
