Edward Dudley (Our Gentle Deaf Giant) passed away at 8:17 this morning 04-01-24 (On his only brother Alfred's Birthday.)Not without a fight. Ed was so strong during this entire journey, he fought until his earthly body would not agree with him anymore. I am so honored that we were able to be alongside him during this journey and greatful for the time we were able to spend with him. Ed was always concerned the entire time about our well being and others before his own. He had dreams that he shared and did not loose his humor even through all that he went through. He talked about missing Christmas with family and put his hands on his tummy like Santa and said ho ho ho, so I knew he was indeed talking about Christmas. He Joked at one point and told me to go ahead and get my car and hook his bed up to it and take him to the freeway with wind blowing on him until he got home. We are glad now that he is at rest and in peace with Jesus. Our hearts hurt but we are rejoicing in his new birth into the kingdom of heaven! Please keep Aunt Mickey Dudley in your prayers.
