Supporting Charley on his swimming journey

Hi. My name is Charley and I’m a County, Regional and National swimmer and am a two time National medalist!

It wasn’t always that way though, I used to have bad asthma and it used to take me an hour to walk to school each day which for any normal person is no more than a 15 minute walk. One day though my Dad took me surfing and on return booked me some swimming lessons as I was weak in the water. Almost immediately my asthma started to clear and I found my love of swimming at age 8. Within A short period I started competing and in respect of my asthma, I have never had a bout of it since or needed my pumps.

Competing at my level is very expensive, it costs way over £10.000 per year of which for any family is hard. Last year my costs were £13.785.00 in total. My Dad is a single parent and has been scrimping for some years so as I can keep doing what I love and in hope that I can achieve my dream of becoming an international swimmer. Recently though my Dad has come out of work due to an accident so for what is already a hard situation has become considerably harder and threatens weather I can carry on or not so with that said I am looking for sponsors or sponsorship to help with that.
