To Help Tom Calder

Hi everyone, As most of you know, Tom has struggled lately with anxiety and depression. One of the most significant issues for him right now is financial. He lives by himself with his two kitties, and his hourly wage is relatively low. He is finding it difficult to make ends meet to stay afloat. His rent went up, paying more at the grocery store, gas to get to and from work and medical bills. Recently he spent a few days in the hospital with some fluid issues. This past weekend he had an armload of dishes, took a step wrong and fell. He had an ambulance ride into MMC to get multiple stitches and will not be able to work for about two weeks. I'd love to give him some relief and breathing room which I hope will ease the anxiety of trying to pay the bills and help his depression about being so far behind. A few months ago, his car needed thousands of dollars to be repaired, and a good samaritan helped him find a used car, but he had to take a loan to buy it. He has reached out to get help through his PCP office, but it takes forever to get any financial assistance with the forms to fill out and the waiting times to see if the person is eligible. So I am hoping someone can help, even just a little bit, to ease his financial burden. We all go through tough times with unexpected things happening in our lives, and we sure would appreciate any help to get him through this stretch.
