Help James, the homeless poet.
Donation protected
A little over a year ago, I met James.
James fell on hard times and found himself in London, alone with nowhere to call home, miles from his hometown of Newcastle.
James has several health issues and finds himself between hospital beds and the streets - But this doesn’t dampen his spirit.
Armed with a biro and the soul of a poet, James makes his daily money by reading his poems to passersby; who take the time to see a person and not just another of London’s homeless community.
James has aspirations to become a published poet and use the money to get himself back on his feet.
I’ve priced up how much the first 20 copies will be - which I’m happy to cover: But the rest is up to you!
I’ve set up a Gofundme page in the hopes that some of you may find it in your heart to help James out.
Once the books are published and printed, I’m going to organise a poetry reading, followed by meet and greet with James in a bookshop.
Any donation is greatly appreciated.
Thank you! X
