To help the families of these three men

At the request of the families of these three men I am setting up a donation page for Shawn Helton, Noah Helton and Ronnie Porter . All proceeds will be divided equally between the three families. I was very hesitant because I did not feel like I should do this but they thought it would be seen the most through my post amd could get shared. All families have given us permission to set up the page and the money will go directly to them equally.

Nadine Helton ( Shawn’s mom ) will be given all of Shawn’s part.

Billy Helton (Noah’s dad ) will be given all of Noah’s part.

Kiki Porter (Ronnie’s daughter ) will be given all of Ronnie’s part.

The money can be used to pay for time lost from work, loans, debts, cars and whatever else is needed by these families.

These three gentlemen were tragically killed in an auto accident Tuesday afternoon while out of town.

It is with a heavy heart that Movers Direct, llc and our moving family asks for prayers. We lost 3 amazing people yesterday in a traffic accident. Movers Direct owes a great debt of service to all three of these guys.

Their hardwork and reliability have been instrumental in our company’s success and good name.

Ronnie Porter, Shawn Helton and Noah Helton are more than just names. They will be missed more than any words can express. A simple FB will not do them justice. We feel like we should share a little about each of them.

RONNIE PORTER

I (Lamar ) have been working with Ronnie in the moving industry long before Movers Direct was even thought of. Ronnie , himself was in the moving industry before we even met. His experience in the business has no doubt help me become a better mover and person . His experience and loyalty have been priceless assets for almost 2 decades with Movers Direct alone.

Ronnie was the guy that was constantly stuck with the rookies to train them. (He did not like it )…. There is no telling how many young movers that Ronnie was able to embetter by his years of wisdom, experience and PATIENCE…. As a mover he is irreplaceable. As a father and family member , even more impactful. Our prayers are with his family and we want them to know how much we appreciate and value him. Our children has known him their entire lives. He has watched them grow up. He has been around them since they were toddlers. For anyone that didn’t know, he was still moving at 66 years of age. I don’t know of another 66 year old that could handle this kind of work daily.

SHAWN HELTON

Shawn has been with us for a little over 3 years. Shawn was quite literally a Rock solid, moving juggernaut. I can’t recall a time that Shawn would turn down a job. He was always among the first to volunteer if we were in a bind or other crews needed his help. At times, he would work through sickness and injuries. I don’t recall one time he ever called in to work. He could not be kept down. He was completely selfless. The man gave away probably a higher percentage of his personal income than anyone else I know. I ( Christy ) would tell him to quit giving his money away . He worked too hard for it . I want to mention that he was a driver for us and never got a ticket or DOT violation as a driver. Shawn stayed on the road. That says a lot as a truck driver. He would always want the out of town jobs unless he had a tennis, basketball or football tournament that he was hosting…. And giving away prizes and cash. As reliable and integral as Shawn was to our moving team, he was even more to his family and community. We love , miss and appreciate you Shawn. We pray for his family in this time of loss.

NOAH HELTON

He was a young man only beginning his life. The Movers Direct family was blessed to meet Noah earlier this summer. We suspected he would be a dependable and strong addition to our team based on our prior experience with several others from the Helton family. We were not disappointed. Noah proved to be a hardworking, reliable and selfless. This young man could have chosen to do anything this summer and we are honored and grateful that he chose to work with us. We literally can’t imagine the gut wrenching, heartache his parents, siblings and extended family are going through. We are all mourning his irreplaceable loss. We pray for God’s merciful healing to the hearts closest to him.

We are confident in the Heavenly hope that is attained through Christ. We hold to the faith that we will all be reunited again in a much more perfect world than what is here.
