Hello, my name Shawn. I was the last baker at Hilltop Truck-stop. For 50 years It was known for their homemade pies I was lucky enough to work there for the last few years.. I made all the pies there. Last year they shut down the food side of the business. Which took away the pie business as well. This left me without a job. My dream is to bring the pie business back on my own. Now I just bake for my friends. I do not have the money to persue my dream. Im needing help for a couple upright fridges and a new oven and mixer in order to get my business going. I live in a small cabin in Alaska while working part time and live paycheck to paycheck. I am working so hard to make enough money to open my own pie business.I would like to update my little kitchen to accommodate room to make these pies. This pie is an institution in the Fairbanks area and I'd love to bring it back. The outreach for me to do this uas been overwhelming.
