In the late part of October 2023, I noticed a lump in my breast but didn’t overthink it because I was told my breast was lumpy from a previous Mammogram and Biopsy on my right breast in 2018. In participating in a contest to raise attention for breast cancer, I decided to have what I thought would be a routine mammogram. November 6th, test results came in, and my mammogram resulted in an abnormal result. This month, I was recently diagnosed with Stage Two breast cancer, and my doctors are concerned it may have spread to my lymph nodes. I have to undergo additional testing (PEC) and an additional MRI for both breasts.

As a woman of strong faith, I have overcome many obstacles and preserved. This obstacle has to be one of the most significant challenges I have ever confronted.
