Hi, my name is Josh and I’m making this go fund me for my friend Brina’s dog Chewie. To start I just wanna say I found this dog abandoned at the dog park at my apt complex back in October. He wasn’t microchipped or anything. Didn’t want him to be at a shelter so my friend Brina took him in as his dog mom and loves him very much. He loves her. She has brought so much love to his life and he’s done the same for her. I’m hurt for her due to the fact that I held him at my place for a lil bit and he’s an amazing dog and deserves a great life. Here is the issue though, this is what Brina has said about his condition declining.

“He's been having cluster seizures, 4 in one day & was admitted to the animal hospital overnight. He has been seizure free since Tuesday night but is now showing signs of blindness & is unable to walk, he collapses on the floor. They originally thought it was epilepsy but given the sudden blindness, loss of motor skills & new neck pain they have reason to believe it's possibly meningitis. Meningitis is deadly & causes damage quickly so chewie needs an mri asap to rule out or diagnose meningitis. The estimated cost of hospitalization & the mri is $5115.39 - $7466.45... if given a meningitis diagnosis he could potentially need to be hospitalized longer.”
