To help Sarah pay bills while recovering

Hi my name is Marie and here's my sister's story. My sister Sarah is a single mother of two kids ages 14 and 10. Two days after her 40th birthday ( 8/16/21) she was diagnosed with Invasive Ductal Carcinoma (breast cancer!) As you can imagine this was devastating news for her and her family. A double mastectomy was scheduled ASAP and she had her mastectomy surgery on 10/1/21. The next surgery to start the reconstruction phase was on 10/28/21. Due to several infections to follow, there were many delays and an unforseen surgery to remove her left expander to take out the infected one and clean out her infection. As many of you know, Sarah is a dedicated member of the Monroe County Sheriff's office Court Bureau. Due to the delays which included several weeks of infection and antibiotics, Sarah has used up ALL her paid vacation time, comp time and all of her sick time. She has applied for disability but that will only be half of her regular pay. Although half pay is better than nothing, it is not enough to get by on. That's why I'm asking if you're able to help her out in any way, I know that she would be so unbelievably grateful. Sarah would never ask for help and that's why I'm asking for her. Right now she's trying to make ends meet as the sole financial provider for herself and her kids. She's currently paying $100 a week in doctor's co-pays that are really taking a toll financially. Any contribution will go to help her cover bills so she can recover after her upcoming and hopefully last and final surgery! This way she won't have the worry and stress about whether or not she can pay her bills and she can focus on healing and getting better. Thank you and God bless.
