Update on my Dad...

Hello. My name is Jarrik. I'm the youngest out of 4 children. And so blessed to have such an awesome Mom and Dad. Like many, I'm sure, our family has been hit hard with the devastating effects from Type 1 Diabetes. My Dad has been in and out of 4 different facilities since November 1, 2021.

He has been in ICU on a ventilator since that time as well. He was just recently diagnosed with CF (Cystic Fibrosis). His doctor isn't sure of how long my Dad has had it. He's now having dialysis 3 times a week. He has almost daily blood transfusions with platelets replacement. He was also recently diagnosed with a severe infection in his blood stream. Prayers are so welcomed for my family!! My Mom does as best she can for us to visit with my Dad whenever possible. But, it's a real struggle for her with having the gas to do so. My Dad's doctor said that he will try to help us find a way to be able to stay in Memphis on weekends, but even that could get costly. This is why I chose to update information about my Dad's illness. Please, if there is any way you could help my family with the cost of traveling from Milan, TN to Memphis, TN on weekends, we are so very thankful for your compassion and love for my Dad!!
