We honor, respect and remember a man who touch and enriched all our lives in many different ways. Manuel (Manny) Ruiz 67, 13 days shy of 68 left us on January 7, 2023, After being on life support for two weeks. Manuel (Manny) Ruiz knew many people and impacted the lives of all who came into contact with him. He was a son, brother, a husband, a friend, a grandfather and most importantly a father. Manny was born in Brownsville, Texas. He was full of life, and the life of the party, and very wise. We are devastated to have lost him so soon. Our dad growing up as a farm worker taught him the value of hard work and perseverance. Experience life changing events and sacrifices drove him to this great state of California. Dad helped the city of San Jose design and create community gardens. The first one he opened was Emma Prusch Park Community Garden. He loved to do Marshalls Arts. Our dad also designed labels for companies (Dole, Pep-boys). Eventually, landed him in an Arborist Career.

We will miss our Tex-Mex-Cali (as he would refer to himself) dad.
