Makaryan Family

Armen Makaryan was born in Yerevan Armenia in the family of the police investigator and economist. From childhood he was very bright and mature. He had his analytical and bright mind from his father and loving and big heart from his mother. 
In 2000 he moved to United States in search of the “American Dream”. Here, in US, he worked for Bank of America and built his career and great reputation as a bright and exceptionally smart, trustworthy colleague. He was loved and respected by everyone who had a chance to know him. He was always kind and helping, strict but fair, loving and always ready to help. He was a God to his son and a Universe for his loving wife.
Armen was diagnosed with oligodendroglioma, an aggressive and malignant type of brain tumor in the summer of 2007. He had a long and hard fight against the cancer. He had his first surgery when his wife was 8 months pregnant! All of us were praying for him, so he would wake up after the surgery and be able to see his newborn son! He had a strong willpower and desire to fight this cruel disease for his family, to be next to the loved ones a year, a month, a week, even a day longer. He fought this disease for 9 long years… Only Armen could fight that long, undergoing 8 brain surgeries, chemotherapy and radiation. Unfortunately his fight was not fair and he left his loved ones on December 25th, 2016. He will always be loved and missed by everyone who had a chance to know him.
