To help Lorraine keep cancer at bay and pain free
As you may be aware, Lorraine has been fighting cancer for a couple of years now being diagnosed with breast cancer in 2016 and it returning in July 2019.
We are looking at raising funds to enable Lorraine to continue to source any alternative treatment she has been using to keep her tumour at bay as well as her pain relief manageable so she has even the smallest quality of life with her daughter.

Evening all. How are we? Ready for Christmas yet?
Update time. The latest scan has shown a slight growth to the existing tumour. Disappointing, though not entirely unexpected. A new (to me) course of hormone inhibitors has begun, along with the original *chemo* tablets. More frustrating than anything was that during the time I was off the pharmaceutical treatment, I was completely unable to source the CBD oil I use(through a combination of supply issues and being brassic), and so my dosing was minimal. This means I now have no concrete way of proving that the oils were helping as much as they were, which is pants. I've mentioned to the oncologist that the tumour growth was far slower than at this time last year, so potentially even the limited amount of CBD I was using was very likely helping. Unfortunately at £60+ per bottle, and with it not being available through the NHS (even at a reduced cost) it isn't easy to maintain as a treatment. Anyway, onwards
The tumour decided to grow in a new direction this time, why wouldn't it ♀️ So now I have pressure on a nerve in my chest which, in turn, has caused massive pain upwards and prohibits me from straightening my neck, so my head is currently permanently down and forwards. I look like I'm trying to win the fucking National every time I go to the kitchen ♀️
And... This is a big and, too... There are NO NEW GROWTH SITES Obviously this is marvellous news, so I'm over the moon for that, at least. Yay
Apart from that, there's not much to report. Any gossip would be gratefully received. Something must be happening somewhere, surely??
