To help Lazarus become the dog she once was.

If you know me, you know I’m not the type of guy to ask for handouts, but yesterday my whole world was flipped upside down. Never in my life would I have thought I would love a dog so much. Lazarus made everyone smile, even if they didn’t like dogs. While she can get lick crazy to people she first meets, she is always gentle and loving. She always loved people no matter the situation. Even when she was being carried off on a stretcher, she was able to wag her tail at the smell of a new person to meet.
Yesterday, on May 30th, Lazarus was hit by a pickup truck and its trailer. Even after this, she was able to crawl her way to me on the ground. After being rushed to the ER, they diagnosed her with the following: vehicular trauma, pneumothorax, left-sided pulmonary contusions, left-sided pelvic fractures, S3 fracture, right-sided body wall defect, scant abdominal effusion, hyperlactataemia at presentation, suspected traumatic brain injury responsive to osmotic therapy, and ALT elevation.
Regardless, they still suspect she can make a full recovery and have a good quality of life. After surgery, we were quoted tens of thousands of dollars in surgery and resources to get her to that point, which, being a college athlete, I do not have access to.
Please, if you are willing and able, any amount will help her become the dog she was. Thank you in advance. Love you all <3.
