It took 2 1/2 months of doctors and tests to determine an answer to my "something is not right." On March 6, 2023 I was diagnosed with a fast-growing uterine cancer and twenty-two days later I started chemotherapy in Iowa City.

Throughout this unexpected journey, I am humbled by the love, support and prayers that have been bestowed on my behalf. When some of my supporters asked what more can they do my initial response has been "I'm good." But some of you are persistent......so for you (and if anyone else is interested), I set up this Go Fund Me....to help you, help me. This fund will be used for incidental expenses that come when dealing with cancer....like gas back and forth to Iowa City, over-the-counter "help me feel better" stuff, snacks for the 7-8 hours during chemo, meals when "the cook" is too busy being the caretaker, Diet Coke when all I want is something "cold and wet", stuff I don't know I need yet, etc.
