To help Kathleen Parker rest in peace

Hi, my name is Jennifer Parker and I've never done this before so I have no idea what I'm doing! So I'll just be honest here! I'm a single mom and it's just my son, my sister and myself. On March 29th 2023 our beloved mother died of liver cancer. It was sudden, she had only been diagnosed 4 weeks earlier. I didn't have time to prepare and as a single mom who has a 10 yr old with autism I don't make a lot of money with the hours I'm able to work. We lost our dad from skin cancer when I was 17, so there is no one else who can help. The 1,500.00 would cover the cremation, death certificate and her ashes given back to us. It's the minimum, no service. I hate that but we just can't afford it. We are going to have our own service with the hospice chaplain Mike when we have her ashes. It came to a total of 1,466.52 but the website said there may be some fees so I rounded up to 1,500.00. She's been laying there at the funeral home since Wednesday evening and it's breaking my heart. Hospice said they would help but the funeral home won't accept third party money from foundations. Anything that you can give, even a dollar is greatly appreciated. Please know how grateful and appreciative we are. Thank you for helping us put my beautiful mother to rest.
