Help coby walk again- surgery after car accident

Hi everyone, I’m reaching out with a heavy heart and a desperate plea to help my beloved cat, Coby. He’s a sweet, gentle 6-year-old boy who was tragically hit by a car. The accident has left him in critical condition, and he now needs emergency spinal surgery (a hemilaminectomy) to relieve the pressure on his spinal cord and give him a chance to walk again. Coby has brought endless love and comfort to my life. He’s the kind of cat who curls up beside you when you’re sad, chirps with joy when you come home, and purrs his heart out just to be near you. He’s always been full of life, chasing sunlight on the walls and sleeping with his paws over his eyes. Seeing him like this—immobile, in pain, and confused—is absolutely heartbreaking. The surgery he needs is urgent and expensive. A hemilaminectomy is the only option to relieve the spinal cord compression and give him the best chance at a full recovery. Without it, Coby may never walk again—or worse, may not survive the complications. The cost of the procedure, hospitalization, imaging, and aftercare is more than I can manage on my own.
