Hi my name is Chelsea and my aim is to help others going through baby loss in the name of our own angel baby. I have recently given birth to our precious angel baby at 20 weeks pregnant. Hearing the words “I’m sorry there’s no heart beat” will haunt me and my husband for the rest of our lives. At such a heartbreaking time, the staff at Royal Stoke from Mau to the forget me not suite, did all they could to make it that little bit easier for us. They showed us kindness and respect and it felt like they were going through the motions with us. It hurt so much to walk out of the hospital holding a memory box instead of the baby me and my family have been making plans for. The memory boxes are supplied by a charity called 4louis who also supply cold cots and privacy pushchairs. Having the memory box, the same bear as our angel baby and also the sibling packs to take home to our two children, did help them to understand and were a lovely touch at such a difficult time.

I would like to raise money to be able to donate what is most needed to the royal Stoke hospital, to help other families going through baby loss.
