Fairyglen Sanctuary, Cover cost of our Vet bills

Fairyglen Community Animal Sanctuary is a non-profit charity. We rescue surrendered cats that are not reclaimed, re-homed or are just badly treated. We will keep them for an indefinite period and even for life if necessary, as no healthy animal is put to sleep due to our no kill policy. We are always in urgent need of donations as we have to feed, house, medicate and obtain veterinary care for all our cats, this also includes an ongoing neutering and vaccination programme which is also very costly.

 

We have been hard working away on keeping up the maintenance and repairs around the sanctuary. We've recently gotten patio doors installed on our "hotel" area. This helps to make a proper seal which keeps in more of the heat. This will be very much needed for the winters to come. We also have erected a lean to shed for the donkeys that we have here so that they have a place of shelter from the rain.

 

We have had an influx of cats lately (a lot of which have been kittens) so we've had to buy in lots of kitten food and medicine which has been going up in price. Due to this and having lots of medical procedures done we have a vet bill in excess of €3500. We are 100% reliant on donations in the running of the sanctuary so any help is greatly appreciated not only by me but by all our furry residents.
