To help build an enclosure for vulnerable Giant Anteaters

Donation protected
Hi,
Our charity the ARCC (Amazon Rainforest Conservation Centre) is based at Amazon World Zoo Park on the Isle of Wight.

We are a small Amazonian Conservation Zoo which is dedicating its support to animals that are at risk in the wild.

We not only need to focus on animals in the wild but also work with Zoo’s all over the world securing a captive population too.

Therefore we ask you please support us in building a state of the art enclosure that will house Giant Anteaters and also have breeding facilities to help us secure their future.

Giant Anteaters are classified as vulnerable on the IUCN Red List and their population in the wild is sadly decreasing.

Giant Anteaters are managed in zoos across Europe as part of an Endangered Species Breeding programme.

Amazon World Zoo Park is home to
hundreds of animals, some that are at serious risk around the world.

As members of the British & European Zoo Associations we participate in international breeding programs that help safeguard the future of some of the rarest animals in the world.

Thousands of visitors come to see our amazing animals every year and our Education and Conservation Team is focused on teaching all our visitors about the plight of the natural world, one of our recents projects was raising money to help to save acres of Rainforest in Ecuador!

As a charity we rely heavily on visitors and donations to support our animals for a successful and protected future.

Thank you for your support in advance.
