Help Bruce walk again after hit & run

Hi, my name is Kinga, I’m 18, a full-time student, and right now I’m asking for help to save a cat I love with all my heart.

Bruce has lived on our street for years. He’s not just a stray he’s part of our family even though he is not officially ours. We’ve fed him, cared for him, and he’s always stayed close to us.

Last week, he disappeared. On Sunday, a stranger told us he had been hit by a car. Bruce dragged himself back to us, badly injured with his back left leg exposed and in critical condition. I believe he used every bit of strength he had left to come home to come to us for help.

The vet says he urgently needs anaesthesia, X-rays, and wound treatment, which could cost from anywhere around £1,000. If surgery or amputation is needed, it could rise to £2,000. And they won’t start without payment.

Bruce is chipped to someone who abandoned him years ago and has now officially refused responsibility it’s all on us now.

We’ve tried charities only one may help with £200. We are out of time and options.
