To help a loving and caring family

Hello everyone,

For the past 15 years or so our meme has been battling cancer. It started with her kidney. She then was diagnosed with vulva cancer. July of 2018 it came back again, for the 3rd time, and was very aggressive.  Since then she has been in and out of the hospital multiple times. She under went radiation for 2 months, 5 days a week. We had to try all different medications to get the pain under control. Which it never was. One of the medications made her one kidney shut down. She had to receive dialysis treatments. Thankfully her kidney function came back. But not before the cancer, that we thought was going to be surgically removed after radiation, grew and flooded the rest of her body. As a family of just 5 of us the expenses have been exhausted. Between traveling to and from the hospital, train/cab fare, paying for parking, her medications, life line expenses, still paying bills/rent on top of that. To even trying to get food in the house, it has been a struggle. Now it is near the end for our meme, she is in her last stages of life. She is at home with hospice. We humbly use this gofundme to ask for support with her burial expenses and for anything else we might need at this time.  She has little time left and we will need to pay for her services very soon. We thank everyone who donates and shares this page for us. From the bottom of our hearts we truly appreciate anything that will help us now and into the future. We are losing our matriarch, our cornerstone, a piece of ourselves. Our meme is such an amazing woman and deserves the services she wanted. Thank you very much.
