My husband and I have been going to a community in St James Jamaica known as Barrettown.for 28years We have developed kinship with a heap of people When we started going to Jamaica we were young People of this community tauggt us to step outside the box over time we were able to help with many things like replacing roofs built a home with a Jamaican family Helped others with school and medical things appliances and even funerals But my husband and myself have retired .we have watched 3 generations of kids grow These people have risen from the ashes many a time and they will rise again but they absolutely need a hand getting a roof over their heads their wooden structures are no more and these houses were really good peoples homes .

Now these folk are without a home hope to raise funds to purchase materials to get these people shelter a start

• Our hope is to be able to help get materials to get shelter The sun is hot and night are scary and there are really young babies needing diapers to really old folk needing care Resourceful they are and there is no lack of skilled people in this community They need help and we need a help giving them a hand
