To Have And To Hold: Fund a student film!

Donation protected
We are a team of students, based in Wales making our final Postgraduate film, that deals with themes of grief, identity and the trauma of loosing a loved one.

The Story:
Nardia (19) lives with her parents in a farmhouse in Wales, but when a secret of hers is unveiled an even darker secret is revealed by her parents which will soon change all of their lives for the better or worse.

About us:
Jack (He/Him) - The Director - Storytelling is my passion, whether that’s behind or front of the camera. I have directed serval shows and performances that has been observed on TV, major theatrical productions, and high-profile corporate events.
I believe that I have developed as a storyteller, but there is loads for me to learn and I’m excited to grow as an artist.

Sam (He/Him) - The Cinematographer - I'm a dabbler in all the creative bits and bobs I can get stuck into, and I'll be leading the camera department for To Have and To Hold. It'll be no small task, but then again - nothing ever is if it's worthwhile.

Bill (He/Him) - The Editor - I'm never too far away from a PC or laptop and as an editor, it suits me just fine. For me, editing is like surgery. It's delicate, stressful, and often requires precise edits through creative instinct. But most importantly, it's rewarding because it means I get to make my team's vision and hard work into a reality!

Honza (They/Them) - The Producer - I am apparently the big bad evil, aka the producer! Coming from online content production and event coordination background, I have decided to switch up and lean more towards TV and Film productions. My passion is truly in production and helping people achieve their dreams... In a realistic manners. And especially when it comes to queer films!

How you can help:
The funds we are trying to raise are covering the costs of overall production! We need to pay location fee, and travel as our story takes quite lot of time on a country side. As it is a thriller, there is quite few props and visual effects we also need. Small sum will go to distribution as some Film Festivals are not free to submit films into.
And last but not least, we want to make sure all actors and crew are well fed, have plenty of water and relaxed way to get to filming set without any stress of public transport or walking.

As a thank you:
In return, we can offer you exclusive behind the scenes photos (to anyone who donates not anonymously) in a special Google Drive. Progress updates on the film, and of course once it releases a link to see the film you helped make happen!
Any donations above £50 will also be listed in film credits as Executive Producer at the top of the credits! (if not anonymous and we can contact you)

Most of all, you will help us continue our dreams and studies to make better films and make more queer based films.
