To fulfil my mummy’s last wish

Hi, my name is Jana and I am trying to raise funds to fulfil my mummy’s last wish, for her ashes to be taken back to New Zealand.

My beautiful mum Galina had a sudden rupture in her brain on Boxing Day and passed away three days later, on the 29/12/2023. This was the biggest blow I had ever received in my life as not only I had lost my mum but I also lost my best friend.

She was an amazing, kind and beautiful human being who provided me and my children with amazing life wisdoms and guidance when we needed it the most. My mum was truly one of a kind, and her respect and love for nature and kindness to all living beings echoed through her and were central to her being. She lived a simple life, in an old converted bus, which allowed her to travel and explore this beautiful world, her favourite thing to do. She found beauty and goodness everywhere and in anyone but her heart belonged to one place, New Zealand, she said it is truly magical and the only place where she could feel the Mother Nature breath.

She asked that when she passes that I take her ashes back there, because it’s the one place she felt like she belonged. Unfortunately the time has come to fulfil her last wish and her grandchildren (7, 10, 15) want to join me, however after covering the funeral costs, i don’t have the funds to travel from Uk to NZ with three children in tow. This is why i am turning to here in hope that people of the world could help me to fulfil her last wish.

I am hoping to take her back there for her 60th birthday, which would be on the 23/03/2024 to let her be, in the place she loved the most.

I have never been there myself and i know this is a long and expensive journey to take. But it’s one i feel i have to do.

The plan in theory is to fly there whichever way is cheaper from Uk and then rent a camper for two weeks to trace my mums steps on her last trip there. I know the route because she updated me with photos and videos and my 15 y.o. Son has got all the locations off those photos . Thats all i have. I want to take one last road trip with my mama before letting her return to mother nature in her favourite place in the world.
