To finish Hope Pump track with a Asphalt surface
Donation protected
Hope pump Track was started 7 years ago where a group of local dads got together and decided to build a small bike track for local kids on some waste land at Hope Sports club. The stone and drainage was all donated by Breedon Cement works. The track became a huge success and had a lot of traffic which then got the Dads and Friend thinking…. Can we make this bigger and better?? So again a group of blokes met every Saturday for 13 weekends in a row and created a bigger track, which was opened by former world downhill champion Steve Peat.
This couldn’t have happened without the team giving up their time week in week out and also the donation that came in from all the local businesses.
Over the years our summer jam parties helped raise more money for the up keep of the track to the point we had enough money in the account to pay for a professional track builder to make it even better.
Now our mission is to finally finish off the track with an asphalt finish so that it can be used for not only bikes but scooters, skate boards and rollerblades.
To achieve this we know it’s going to cost a lot and we can’t raise that kind of money through parties. So what we are asking is that if everyone who visits or loves our track and story to donate whatever they can afford to help us reach out target and make the track the best around and to bring happiness to anyone who uses it.
