To everyone that has reached out wanting to help.

Crazy how life can change in an instant. We all know this, but until it happens to you we all go about life not thinking much of it. About 10 days ago, my husband Vincent blew his knee out while out of town on a work trip. After an insane first few days and many doctors appts, we discovered a severed ACL, torn Meniscus, bone contusion, other torn fibers and a very scary DVT (blood clot), that was potentially life threatening. Doctors put him on blood thinners immediately, and as we've continued this journey over these last 10 days, it's been a complete emotional roller coaster for our family. Vinny cannot put any weight on his leg, and everyday life has changed in every single aspect imaginable as he is completely dependent on help from myself for almost everything. Surgery currently lies ahead, but due to the blood clot we have to go through a Hematologist for clearance so the timeframe of this journey is also unknown. It will likely be at least these next 6+ months where this will be our new reality.

We have had so many people reach out asking how they can help, and I wanted to create a spot that we could easily send everyone to. This will make funneling all the amazing generosity being offered a lot simpler. We are fully pressing into God during this time. He has seen us through many other trials, and we know this will be no different.

Vinny and myself have been so very thankful and overwhelmed with everyone who has called, messaged, text or visited. We know many prayers are going up for him and our family and saying thank you doesn't begin to cover our appreciation. We will take all the prayers we can get. We are blessed with amazing families and friends, and we are so very thankful for the outpouring of love.

Due to the severity of Vinny's injuries his work abilities have become extremely limited, and because of this his income has been drastically affected. If God puts it in your heart to give, this will go towards all areas of need for us. We have many medical bills ahead for everything including physical therapy, surgery, past and future appointments, scans and recovery, on top of our regular living expenses. I'm still working when I can, but due to Vinny not being able to care for the kids currently, it makes my work life also much more limited and challenging, as I'm fully taking care of the children and now him as well.
