Lukes Journey with complex medical needs

I am setting up this page to help to support my brother John and his wife financially while their son Luke recovers from major surgery in Crumlin. John has a spinal injury and a wheelchair user, and is unable to work. Maria is a full time carer to Luke. Over the past few years Luke has several surgeries on his bowel in Crumlin, spending weeks at a time away from home. Being away from home has a huge impact financially with bills needing to be paid home as well as accommodation food etc in Dublin. The house will also need to adapted and made suitable for Luke for when he comes home from hospital.

Luke is a happy 5 year old little boy with complex medical needs. Luke has numerous surgeries and apts in Crumlin the past few years. Last Tuesday Luke had his largest surgery to date .

Any help would be appreciated while on Lukes long road to recovery.

A quick update Luke is now in hospital over 11 weeks. His body isn't absorbing any food or medication which means he is malnourished, loosing weight and requires iv epilepsy medication. Until Luke starts absorbing he will remain in Crumlin hospital. So far any medical plans haven't work but the Doctors are trying their best to help Luke.
