It's been three years since Nathan Duke's initial diagnosis of brain cancer. Numerous treatments were successful in eliminating the tumor with cancer-free checkups until recently. His most recent MRI shows the return of the brain tumor as well as cancer in his spine.

 

Nathan, accompanied by his grandmother, will leave for Seattle on January 26th to begin his initial month-long chemotherapy regimen at the Seattle Children's Hospital. After that, treatments will continue for one year, including bone marrow stem cell therapy, and will require frequent trips to Seattle.

 

This go fund me effort is established by family and friends of the Dukes. It will allow Nathan's dad to accompany him to Seattle from time to time and assist with general living expenses. Nathan's dad, Kenen, is the sole family provider. Donations will help alleviate financial stress and allow Nathan's parents to concentrate on his care and well-being. Nathan will turn 17 in March. He lives with his parents and three older brothers in Anchorage, Alaska.
