Friends and Family,
Our dear father passed away on March 11th, 2022, surrounded by his wife and children. Our father would have turned 74 on March 20th, 2022; our hearts are broken by the passing of our father.
Za Teng Xiong, a son, brother, uncle, husband, father, and grandfather, leaves behind a legacy that his children and loved ones will hold on to forever. A soldier during the Vietnam war immigrated to the United States in the mid-'80s with his wife and small children. Our father came to a new world wanting only the best for his family; overcoming obstacles like many of his relatives, he built a life for his family in Eau Claire, WI.
Some of our fondest memories were summers when dad taught us how to ride our bikes, showed us how to kick the soccer ball, always videotaping all of our best memories. He was and still is the hardest working person we've ever known. He never complained about how little sleep he got because he worked so hard to provide for his family of 11. We will miss his long speeches at holidays and special occasions, his laugh and smile, and the comfort that would wrap around us when we heard his voice.
He leaves behind our mom, five sons and five daughters, 11 grandsons, and 13 granddaughters. His legacy and love will forever live through all of us.
We will love you and miss you forever, dad.
This GoFundMe is set up for all friends and families who may or may not attend our dad's memorial service and would like to contribute. Anyone is welcome to contribute. Contributions of any amount are welcomed, and please feel free to share this GoFundMe page. All donations will be used towards our dad's funeral expenses.
Our Family wants to thank our friends and families who have rallied around us in the past two weeks. Your love, support, and kind words have lifted our spirits in this difficult time.
