Hi, my name is Flavy, I’m 15 years old, and I’m autistic. One of the hardest things I deal with every day is my social anxiety — it’s like the world becomes too loud, too fast, and too overwhelming all at once. Even simple things, like walking into a classroom or talking to someone new, can make me panic or shut down completely.
Having a service dog would mean I wouldn’t have to go through those moments alone. They could help calm me down when I feel like I’m going to fall apart, guide me through crowds, and give me a reason to feel safe when everything else feels scary. It’s more than just a dog — it’s a lifeline. I Just want to feel like I can breathe again, like I can be myself without being afraid all the time. Service dogs are really expensive, and my family can’t afford one on our own.
But if everyone who reads this gave just $1, I truly believe I could make it happen. It would mean the world to me — to finally have a chance at living a more normal, peaceful life.
