I am Joy's mother, and she was devastated by a scam. She lost $10,000. Joy is a     hard working, very kind and trusting individual who lost absolutely everything. It started with a supposed phone call from the FBI that told her that her bank account was intertwined with a money laundering operation. They also accused her of being the driver of a car that they found in Austin, TX that supposedly had drugs, blood and a gun in it. She was on the phone for several hours and made attempts to hang up, but they continually called her back for over 5 hours. To make a long story short, Joy is crushed. She is such a good person, and she is embarrassed and devastated. Anything would help. Our goal is not to burden anyone, we simply ask 1,000 people to donate $10 to "A heart for Joy."
