Update on Kay. She passed the required breathing test and has got taken off the ventilator this morning after 17 long days. She still has a long road of recovery ahead of her so please don’t stop praying now. Thank you to everyone that has supported Kay and remembered her in your thoughts and prayers over the past couple of weeks. I strongly believe that prayers will lift the financial burden that will be coming, just as God has gave knowledge to the doctors that is treating her and the strength that he has given Kay during all of this. Please give if you are able but most importantly please continue to Pray for Kay.

Hi, my name is Trevor and I am raising funds for Kaylene (Kay) Peterson. Kay was admitted into MUSC in Charleston, SC on Friday, February 2nd (her birthday) for pulmonary complications. She was immediately placed in ICU. Kay is receiving the best treatment possible but as you know medical expenses are something to be concerned about. Kay’s immediate family does not reside nearby, therefore travel and accommodations are a priority as well. Not only is Kay a family member, but also a “Sister In Blue” as she is employed by the Georgetown City Police Department where she holds the rank of a Corporal on the Patrol Division. For the ones that know Kay, know that she is a very caring person especially when it comes to animals. She has a few furry family members. Her dog Red and cats Socks, Shelby and Sunny are all waiting for her to come home. When Kay is not working she can be found riding her motorcycle and going to the gym or traveling. For the ones that don’t know Kay I can promise you that she would have your back and she’s a tough one!
