To all SOA & Burnt Pine Homeowners

Hi, I am Stuart & my wife Christa & I truly would like for all Sandestin & Burnt Pine homeowners to help one of our long standing SOA employee, Larry Sieg has worked for the SOA as a Burnt Pine security officer for 21 years. This is longer than most of us have been here in the community but speaks volumes for the dedication he has given and helps provide the safety which is one of the attributes that attracted us to Sandestin. Larry commutes most every day of the last 21 years from Gulf Breeze which is over an hour away. In February this year, Larry was diagnosed with a rare form of stomach cancer called G.I.S.T . which only about 5k cases diagnosed a year. In May, Larry was taken to Sacred Heart due to bleeding internally and rushed to Moffit Cancer Center in Tampa which is one of the top cancer centers and where emergency surgery was performed and removed the tumor. His medications given after surgery have since stopped working and now the new medication is over 4k a month on top of his mounting medical bills his family has incurred and why we are writing. I know there are many people suffering and struggling at this time but if you have the ability to help Larry and his family I think he has served our community for 21 years and deserves help from us that have the ability.
